Health, also called Life, is the core resource that measures how much damage your survivor can withstand. Combat damage reduces Health.

If Health reaches zero, your survivor becomes injured. You do not permanently die, but you must finish the injury recovery period before normal recovery resumes.

Recovery

Health normally regenerates by your current Health recovery amount every 15 minutes. A new survivor begins with 10 Health per recovery tick. Recovery pauses during active combat, while under attack and while injured.

Medical items can restore Health immediately. Upgrading the Medical Bay improves passive recovery and provides access to medical supplies.

Maximum Health

Your base maximum is 100. The Life perk increases maximum Health by 100 points per level, up to 1,000 additional points at level 10. Equipment, buildings and temporary effects can modify Health or its recovery.
