Morale is a core resource shown in the status bar. It represents mental stamina and is used by activities including scavenging and combat-stat training in the Gym. Higher Morale also improves scavenging success and Gym gains.

Recovery

Morale regenerates by 5 points every 5 minutes until it reaches your current maximum. Food, drinks and other consumables can restore additional Morale; open an item's details to see the amount restored and its cooldown.

Some consumables can raise Morale above its normal maximum temporarily. Excess Morale returns to the current maximum on a 15-minute reset tick.

Maximum Morale

Your base maximum is 100. The Morale perk increases the maximum by 100 points per level, up to 1,000 additional points at level 10. Trophies, furniture and temporary effects can provide further bonuses.

Using Morale

  • Scavenging attempts consume Morale and benefit from having more available.
  • Gym training consumes Morale, and the amount available affects training gains.
  • Check consumable cooldowns before relying on several recovery items in succession.
