Energy is a core resource shown in the status bar. It powers strenuous actions, including fighting Zeds and training combat stats in the Gym.

An action's requirements show its exact Energy cost. You must have enough available to begin the action, and the cost is deducted when it starts.

Recovery

Energy normally regenerates by 5 points every 15 minutes until it reaches your current maximum. With an active membership, it regenerates by 5 points every 10 minutes. Consumable items can also restore Energy; open an item's details to see the amount restored and its cooldown.

Maximum Energy

Your base maximum is 100. An active membership adds 50 to the maximum, and temporary effects can increase it further. Increasing the maximum lets you save more Energy between sessions.

Using Energy efficiently

  • Check an action's Energy requirement before starting it.
  • Gym training also uses Morale, which affects training gains.
  • Some bonuses can reduce the Energy cost of hunting.
  • Energy Boosters restore Energy but are subject to a booster cooldown.
