Zeds
Zeds are hostile enemies encountered through Hunting, exploration, and other activities. Each type has its own base combat stats, weakness, attacks, and difficulty. Select a Zed below to see its combat details, possible rewards, and the locations or activities where it can be encountered.
The stats on a Zed's page are its base values. Hunting Mutations increase the level and stats of that location's enemies, and hunting bosses receive an additional level increase. Check the values shown on the hunt before starting a fight.
Loot
Rewards depend on the type of encounter. During Hunting, the hunting location provides its normal or boss rewards instead of the default loot shown on the Zed's own page. A successful hunt also awards Zed Juice, with the amount affected by the location's Mutations and your Hunting bonuses.
In encounters that use the Zed's own loot:
- Base loot can be awarded at any level.
- A second loot group is selected from the Zed's current level band: levels 1–20, 21–40, 41–60, 61–80, or 81–100.
- If a Zed has no rewards for its current band, the nearest lower band with rewards is used.
The quantity and chance shown beside an item describe what can be rolled after defeating that Zed; listed loot is not guaranteed unless its chance is 100%.

Regularly encountered Zeds are listed first. Seasonal, event, and otherwise restricted enemies appear separately under Specials and may not always be available.
